What does ‘5.11’ stand for? 5.11 Tactical Pants with the patented tactical
strap and slash pocket design were originally
developed for rock climbing. “5.11” is a rock
climbing difficulty level as listed in the
Yosemite Decimal System. With skill levels
ranging from 5.0 (easy) to 5.10 (difficult),
5.11 is even more grueling. 5.11 is officially
defined as, “After thorough inspection, you
conclude this move is obviously impossible;
however, occasionally someone actually
accomplishes it.”

9'' Sock - Regular Thickness
5.11's Level I and Level II socks are
engineered with a dozen different zones
of compression, cushioning and support.
They feature moisture-wicking Coolmax®
fibers for all-day comfort. Level II
socks are thicker than our Level I
socks, making them warmer with more
cushion. |

| 5-in-1 Jacket
The 5-in-1 Jacket offers a tremendous
value for such feature-packed outerwear.
Loaded with the same options as the
3-in-1 Parka, the 5-in-1 Jacket is cut
shorter and has an elastic waist. The
included fleece inner jacket may be worn
separately. The fleece’s arms also zip
off, leaving you with a handy fleece
vest. The 5-in-1 allows you to easily
adjust the garment for your individual
needs or as the weather changes.
Includes a free ANSI II traffic vest and
is available year-round. The jacket
includes removable ID panels, side
zippers, and a detachable hood.
